We have our headliner for Ignite 2010 and as you may have guessed from the title of this post it is SUPERCHICK!!! (no, you don't have to capitalize or use the exclamation points, but I'm just THAT EXCITED!!!)

We are super excited to have them joining us for this year's concert (we've tried to get them in the past and this is the first year it has worked out). They are a great band with mass appeal and will be great for our concert.

WOW! That was an incredible night of worship. If you were there you know what I’m talking about. People just didn’t care about the rain and we just praised the Lord and His awesomeness even when it was uncomfortable.

Thank you to Kutless, Lightswitch and Daren Streblow. As the promoter of the event I’m privileged to get to meet all the talent and crews that come in and I can tell you that this year I was blown away with these guys. All of them were class acts. I would recommend them all to anyone who wants to put on a show. They made things so easy for us.

Our volunteers were awesome, too. Kutless said that our crew was the best they had seen all tour… that is an incredible testimony to our people… you’re the BEST! Thank you!!!

We will have parking at the hockey rink (there are directional signs if you’re unfamiliar). From there we will shuttle you and your lawn chair (and whatever else) to the park.

Just a reminder that I’m sure I don’t have to remind you of… alcohol is not permitted during the concert.

FYI… The gates will open at 5pm. Seating is first come – first served. We strongly encourage you to bring a lawnchair. Concessions will be available when the gates open.

A couple of people have asked if we accept credit cards at the gate.

Unfortunately, we do not have that capability at the site this year. We’re looking into it for future concerts, but this year it’s a no-go.

If you would like to purchase your tickets with a credit card you can do that online with our partner iTickets. They have been working with us for the past three years and have been great.

We will be accepting checks and cash (of course!) at the gate.

Everything is coming together nicely for IGNITE 2009!

We’re only a couple days away and I wanted to let you know there are still plenty of tickets available. Advanced sales have ended, but you can still purchase tickets at the door or online for $20/ea (online tickets will be held at will call).
